More than 65 thousand toys of U-Laika, the official mascot of the Winter Universiade 2019, were made for the Games. The major part of the toys was purchased by the fans of the Games, while the rest left Krasnoyarsk with the winners of the competitions.
Valentina Matviyenko who is serving as Chair of the Federation Council of Russia and Alexander Uss, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, discussed the issues of the social and economic development of the region and the results of the Winter Universiade Krasnoyarsk 2019. The meeting took place within the framework of the Governor's regular working visit to Moscow.
Raduga Cluster welcomed journalists on a tour that threw some light on how one of the key venues of the Winter Universiade Krasnoyarsk 2019 is used after the Games.
Medallists of the Winter Universiade 2019 have planted signed trees at the new alley in the Universiade Garden Square. Sergei Eremin, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Natalia Firyulina, Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council, and parents of the athletes took part in the event.
The Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation held the meeting with the Executive Committee of the Russian Bandy Federation which summarised the results of this season. The event culminated with the Winter Universiade 2019 Flame torch handed over to Boris Skrynnik, President of the Bandy Federation, by the Director General of ANO “Directorate Krasnoyarsk 2019” Maxim Urazov.
Alexander Uss, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, handed a gift certificate for 124 buses supplied for the 29th Winter Universiade Krasnoyarsk 2019 over to the transport companies of the city of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
More than 1000 costumes, sceneries and stage requisites used in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Winter Universiade 2019 as well as in the Winter Universiade 2019 Cultural Programme were handed over to the Krasnoyarsk performing groups.
