Media representatives are accredited for all remaining test events of the Winter Universiade 2019: Cross-Country Skiing Russian Cup 1st stage, The FIS Freestyle Skiing Russian Cup Stage, Snowboard Russian Cup Stage, Russian Cup Women’s Curling, Bandy World Championship Y19, Biathlon Russian Championship.
Applications from organizations for coverage of the competitions will be accepted from registered media only, from November 12 to 22, 2018.
Registration for media accreditation is carried out in two stages:
1. Submission of application from a media organization.
The application must specify: type of the organization, name of the organization, contact details, the person responsible for accreditation. The application must be compiled on the official headed paper of the organization and signed by the head of the organization. Only one application per organization is allowed.
A scanned copy of the application must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than November 22, 2018.
2. Completion of the questionnaire for journalists.
Once the application is approved, a login and password for the personal account in the accreditation system will be sent to the email address provided in the application. A questionnaire in the personal account needs to be filled out for each media representative; it should specify their full name, contact and passport details, and be furnished with a scanned copy of their passport and a photo in accordance with the requirements.
Questionnaires in the personal account must be completed no later than November 23, 2018.
After filling in this information, the application status will change to "pending". The owner of the personal account can independently monitor the status of their questionnaire and make changes to it up until it is confirmed or rejected.
There will be Press Centres arranged for accredited media representatives at the sites where the competitions are held.
The following media zones will be accessible in the Press Centres:
- media work places with laptops and free Wi-Fi;
- information desk, a reference information desk with access to up-to-date information about the competitions;
- press conference hall;
- mixed zone where journalists will be able to interview athletes;
- photo positions, vantage points with the best camera angles for photographers;
- seats in the stands with the Internet access;
- recreation zone with light snacks and hot drinks.
On a day-to-day basis, media representatives will receive the latest information updates needed to cover the competitions: the programme of press events, results, comments from the participants, photos and more.
