ANO “Directorate Krasnoyarsk 2019” and International University Sports Federation (FISU) launch the Young Reporter Programme (U-Media) for the first time in the history of Winter Universiades
The participation in the programme will enable the young sports journalists from around the globe to enchase their professional skills during the Universiade time on March 2-12 in Krasnoyarsk. The students of sport journalism, public relations or mass media faculties aged 21 – 25 can take part in the Programme. Recent graduates working in similar entry-level positions in news and media organisations may also apply for the participation.
FISU and ANO “Directorate Krasnoyarsk 2019” will select six foreign and twelve national journalists for the Programme. The educational programme will be composed with the consideration of the current trends of the mass media, the young reporters will undergo the education in the following areas of practice: reporter, photojournalist or online media specialists. The focus of the programme will be the creation of the content on the Winter Universiade 2019 for the social networks. The young journalists will also do the reports for the newspaper of the Games.
The lectures and workshops of the experienced international and national experts will be provided for the participants of the Programme, as well as the working sessions and practical classes at the venues of the Winter Universiade 2019 under the guidance of the expert mentors. The participants of the Programme will get the accreditation as the media representatives and will be able to visit the key events of the Games – Opening and Closing ceremonies, and the sports competitions.
